Sweets Box   This aplet is designed to serve as an introduction to the concepts of Calculus, through finding a maximum value under constraints.
.  The problem is finding the max volume of an open box, built from a piece of cardboard (11cm by 15cm). As is covered in the documentation, the problem can then be solved through trial and adjustment, through using a spreadsheet and through using the FCN facilities in PLOT.

Tangent Line  This aplet will allow the user to choose from a number of different functions (or to define their own function) and then to graphically display the tangents to the function.
.  The accompanying documentation includes a worksheet which develops the idea of a gradient function.

Time Series  This aplet will analyse a set of Time Series data, calculating the moving average values (3 point, centred 4 point and 5 point), the residuals (data - m.av.), the seasonal components (av. of corresponding residuals), and the seasonally adjusted values (data - seas. components).  Once the values are calculated, the results can be graphed. As can be seen left, there are a number of different possible combinations that can be graphed.
.  The combined graph of data and moving average is shown left. The line of best fit can be calculated using the FIT command in the PLOT view.
